1 Team Nippon #3 cover Simon and Gen in their costumes are out and about, going to the Chinatown Merchants' Guild meeting for gratitude to Team Nippon. A boy holding a laser gun toy is in the background. These people donated the headquarters and support the team. Bo and Sai are only trial members. Lee offered to take Alex to the beach. Simon mentions one hit on the head and he gets babied for a week. Alex wears a Team Nippon sleeveless shirt. Lee wears a skull on his shirt. Everyone is wearing Batman logos on their hats, tñshirts, etc. Alex and Lee get on the subway (a man is feeling up Lee's underarm). Bo tells Sai that what they are doing is for grown ups and that Team Nippon are children. They are the Yakuza lab and Bo tells her the people in the next room will die. At the guild meeting is Lu who talks to Gen; a woman who thinks Simon is cute. A Yakuza arrives, telling them he is peaceful. Lu tells him that he sells drugs to kids and prostitutes walk the streets due to him. He denies it. The Yakuza man tells Gen that Bo and Sai are wanted by the police and that the thing he was going to build is finished. Lee wants to have fun at the beach (behind Alex is a man wearing a NINJA HIGH SCHOOL Tñshirt). Alex just wants to go see another movie. They have already seen INDIAN JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE, BATMAN, STAR TREK V, THE ABYSS, LICENSE TO KILL, LETHAL WEAPON 2...but Alex mentions they could try GHOSTBUSTERS 2. The men in the room are not Yakuza but The Angels who work with the police. Sai puts her daggers in one's head and kicks another to break bones. Bo puts his stick through another's mouth and out the back of his head, then into the chest of another, killing all four men. They found out the machine is finished. Simon and Gen go down into the subway (Balls is written on a light post). Lee, bored, wants to go get hotdogs. Ling, an Oriental in a bathing suit, talks with his pal about Alex and Lee being superheroes, probably Team Nippon. He and his pal are Tong. Alex yells at Lee to get hotdogs already so he can rest as he was before Lee bugged him. As Lee gets his dogs, Ling bothers him with accusations that he is Team Nippon. A man sees Alex go into trance and thinks it is crack. Ling overhears Alex tell Lee about his sensing something. Out of the water comes a killing machine firing bullets!
