Elfheim vol. 2 #2 Night Wynd, 1992, b&w.
1 Elfheim vol. 2 #2 cover An absolutely gorgeous full page piece of a shirtless Hawk with long hair draped over his left shoulder. Hawk got up to watch the sunrise. Hawk snaps at Windy but apologizes. Windy knows they are up high when he looks out the window sill Hawk is sitting on. Windy prays for the days that they can relax and have fun again and laugh instead of hiding. McTutt playfully bites Windy's nose. He and then Turo, rubbing his eyes, were awakened by their talking. Turo asks if they can eat first. A bald headed boy elf with a jewel on his forehead and a tight belt above his navel (named Ochoa) and a boy with thick pigtails and a ponytail (and wearing only ropes it would seem) ready the cauldron in Ichi's tower. Both seem to be Oriental. The one with the hair tells them their attempt to enter the land of their ancestors may consume them all. He begs but Ichi puts a ball and rope in his mouth using his magic. Ichi will use Ochoa as his protector. The three vanish slowly as Ichi touches the liquid within. Ichi wants to converse with the Elder Race, the secret people who founded their empire. Below Greenhaven, Bran and Dao are in padlocks around their crotches and necks. Cyndrillan is there also. Other boys are there, blond and brown haired, who also blame Bran. They seem to be on the edge of a pit. A giant disembodied head (looking like the alien head in STAR TREK'S SPECTER OF THE GUN) meets Ichi at a door hole of magic in the spirit world. Ichi offers Ochoa as his guardian so that the head can feast on his bones. He will perish slowly at his pleasure. Ichi hopes he lasts a good long time so he and the other one can get inside. Turo is putting Windy's hair up in a pony tail and Windy turns to Hawk to ask what he thinks. Turo tells him it suits him perfectly. Windy jumps on top of him, "I'd sooner trust a Srith, you trouble maker." Turo giggles. Straddling him, Windy tells him to say uncle or he will turn into a snail. Turo tells him if he does, he will slime on him and sticks his tongue out. Hawk looks serious but tells them it is tickle Windy time. Windy eeeks. Ichi takes the ball out of the mouth of the servant boy with the hair. Ichi realizes that the boy's ranting fear repulses the ancestors from the hole of focal power. Ichi thinks a good wash of agony would draw them out and he zaps ropes and shackles onto the boy's wrists and whips him with a cat of nine tails. Ichi is exciting as he whips the boy who has tears streaming down his face. Soon he has over 19 whip marks over his back and legs. A figure rises and wants more. The boy begs but Ichi continues, squishing the boy's mouth and kneeing him between the legs. The boy looks down in terror. The boy, covered in sweat, passes out. The entity, white eyed and somewhat female, does not want Ichi to kill the boy. She—it draws Ichi close and puts her tongue down his mouth and will teach him many things. Ichi's eyes grow wide. Windy, laughing, tells Turo and Hawk to stop tickling him or he will pee. Hawk tells him to go ahead——it's his tights. Windy's eyes go white. He knows Dao and the others are in terrible danger. Hawk says, "What? Where, boy, where?" Windy sends Hawk to them in a zap. Hawk enters the ledge but this makes them all fall into the water with the tentacled thing.
