Elflord vol. 2 #3 Aircel, 1986, colour.
1 Elflord vol. 2 #3 cover A nice full page spread of the demon bat monster attacking Greylone, Windy, and Hawk. Greylone makes it go away when Hawk can't fight it. An arrow hits above Windy's head. Hawk fights the night watch but doesn't kill them. Hawk finds the princess has hurt her head. Windy tells Hawk he sees a shadow over the princess. She turns into a vampire monster at night and doesn't seem to suspect it. That night, Windy is the bait. Hawk and Greylone spring a net over the monster. Hawk has to fight the guards and now has to use more force as Greylone starts to exorcise the thing from the princess. Hawk slices an arm, beheads another, kicks another and slices across a whole body. Hawk tells the king he is not protecting his subjects. Since Willow is an elf and Greylone is not, the exorcism requires elf magic. Windblade exorcises the flying demon from the princess who becomes herself, naked. The father turns into the monster now, possessed by the thing. Hawk slices it and the man dies as well. Willow yells at Hawk, telling him that the king protected her all the time she was the monster. She knew all the time what was happening. She tells them to go. In another haunted keep far away, a white haired elf woman is angry that Hawk has destroyed another of her servants. As she and her large, muscled black haired warrior talk on how to kill Hawk——the whole plan at the castle was to kill Hawk, a demon monster eats a bare chested elf boy. This woman is Lady Cloudshadow, a sorceress. Greylone pulls a gun on a winged dragon that just appears. Greylone uses it to get rid of the thing which vanishes. Hawk thinks it was from Willow but he doesn't like the gun either. Greylone is out of bullets anyway. Windy crosses his eyes, "What's ammo?" Greylone says, "Hmph. Seems with you two there is never any peace." At a new place, Windblade says, "Yeah. I got a bad feeling about this place." Hawk says, "Shut up Windblade, I don't want to hear it."
